SPECIALIST GTM RECRUITING

Revenue Operations
recruiting.

Prospecteo recruits Revenue Operations talent to connect the processes, systems, and decisions across your revenue organization. We help define the role around the work your team needs, from hands-on lifecycle operations to leadership of the function.

Discuss your RevOps hire

When to make
this hire.

A RevOps search becomes useful when marketing, sales, and customer success need shared ownership of lifecycle definitions, reporting, and handoffs. Before hiring, clarify whether the problem is execution capacity, unresolved priorities, or the need for a leader who can align teams around a plan.

DEFINE THE SCOPE

Roles we recruit.

These are example scopes to shape a hiring conversation. Titles and responsibilities vary by company; they are not current job openings.

Revenue Operations Analyst

Investigate data, maintain recurring analysis, and improve visibility into lifecycle performance using agreed definitions.

Revenue Operations Manager

Own processes and systems improvements, maintain reporting, and coordinate execution across revenue teams.

Director or VP of Revenue Operations

Set the operating agenda with leadership, establish decision ownership, and develop the function’s team, priorities, and planning rhythm.

BEYOND THE TITLE

What we look for.

Lifecycle and systems judgment

Walk through how a lead becomes an opportunity and then a customer. Ask the candidate to identify definitions, exceptions, ownership gaps, and the consequences for reporting.

Business reasoning

Ask for an example of analysis that changed a decision. Examine the baseline, assumptions, competing explanations, and what the candidate actually owned.

Cross-team execution

Explore a change that required agreement across functions. Look for clear tradeoffs, named decision owners, adoption checks, and follow-through after launch.

Start with
a clear brief.

Use these questions to define the search with your team.

  1. Which teams and stages of the customer lifecycle are in scope?
  2. Who makes decisions when functional priorities conflict?
  3. How much hands-on configuration does this person need to do?
  4. Are they inheriting a plan or expected to create and lead one?

How the search starts.

01 / Share the work.

Tell us about your team, the systems in place, and what the hire needs to change.

02 / Align on the role.

Nate will follow up to discuss scope, level, and the evidence that would demonstrate a fit.

03 / Agree on the search.

Discuss expectations and terms before deciding to move forward. Sharing a brief does not commit you to a search.

RevOps hiring questions.

What does a RevOps recruiting agency help with?

A specialist recruiter helps translate your operating needs into a search brief and assess candidates against that work. At Prospecteo, the starting point is scope: team structure, systems, business priorities, and the decisions the hire should own.

Do we need a RevOps manager or a director?

A manager often fits ownership of execution within an agreed direction. A director may fit responsibility for setting priorities, aligning leaders, and developing a function. Company titles vary, so compare decision authority, team responsibility, and expectations for hands-on work.

Is Salesforce experience enough for a RevOps role?

Salesforce experience may be necessary for your environment, but it does not establish capability in planning, analytics, or stakeholder alignment. Assess the required systems skills and the operating judgment separately.

How are RevOps candidates evaluated?

Start with the role’s expected outcomes, then use structured questions and relevant work examples to gather evidence. Our sample scorecard separates demonstrated skills, missing evidence, and follow-up questions so a polished interview does not substitute for role fit.
